WIOA Local Plan 2025-2028

The Gulf Coast Workforce Board is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive workforce that caters to the evolving needs of both employers and job seekers across our 13-county region. In alignment with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), we have crafted the 2025-2028 Local Plan to steer our strategic initiatives and investments in workforce development over the next four years.

Key Objectives of the 2025-2028 Local Plan:

• Strategic Vision: Define our commitment to supporting regional economic growth and self-sufficiency by preparing an educated and skilled workforce, including youth and individuals with barriers to employment.
• Performance Goals: Establish targets related to performance accountability measures to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with regional economic needs.
• Service Delivery Integration: Outline strategies for integrating services among core programs and partners to enhance service delivery and avoid duplication.
• Sector Strategies and Career Pathways: Identify in-demand industry sectors and occupations, and develop career pathways to meet the needs of employers and job seekers.
