The Gulf Coast Workforce Board 13-county service area includes Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Walker, Waller and Wharton counties. Each monthly report reflects the prior month's data.

Monthly Jobs Reports
November 2024 Highlights: Employers in the Houston area added 20,300 jobs (NSA) in November over the month. Adjusting for seasonal trends, the region added 7,600 jobs. The not-seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate remained steady at 4.5 percent, unchanged over the month and up over the year.
