Interested in Adult and Basic Education services? We look forward to working with you! Adult Education and Literacy services available to you are:
- English as a Second Language: A program that builds critical communication skills for individuals that test at the functioning level at or above Low Beginning ESL.
- Adult Basic/Popular Education: A service program that provides adults with a solid foundation in mathematics, reading, writing, and science, preparing them for the GED exam, for individuals that test at the functioning level at or above Beginning Basic Education.
- Integrated Education and Training: A program that guides students into promising job training and career pathways for Adult Basic Education individuals that test at or above the functioning level of a NRS Level 3, of Low Intermediate Basic Education or for English Language Learner individuals that test at or above the functioning level of a NRS Level 3 (High Beginning ESL).
- Digital Literacy: A program that introduces students to key software and contemporary digital skills.
- Family Literacy: A program that brings reading and writing into the home, making it a family activity.
- Financial Literacy: A program that provides the essential foundation for an intelligent relationship with money, helping participants understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing.
